A substantial portion of Mr. Lourie’s practice involves seeking justice for the victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. For the first 12 years of Mr. Lourie’s practice, he defended cases involving negligent healthcare providers.
However, for the last 21 years, his practice has focused exclusively on representing the victims of negligent care. He has served as a Vice President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, as well as on its executive committee.
Mr. Lourie has testified a number of times before legislative committees on issues relating to abuse and neglect of the elderly. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars around the country. Mr Lourie is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
